REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN

How do I register?

• You can register online by using a credit or debit card. We no longer take deposits, or accept registration through the mail so the cost of camp is due in full at the time of online registration.

When is the last day to pre-register for summer camps?

• Pre-registration closes exactly a five days prior to the start of a resident camp, unless it falls on a Sunday and, therefore, it will remain open until noon on the Monday prior to the start. Registration remains open for all day camps until the first day of the camp as long as we are not at capacity. You can always check online to see if a camp is still accepting registrations or if it is "Closed."

What is required for summer camps registration?

• Full payment and completed registration form initially, along with proof of health insurance, immunization records, and a physical within one calendar year submitted to the online camper portal prior to the start date of the camp.

What is required for check in on the first day of a summer camp?

• Each camper is required to complete the health paperwork, including immunization records, a copy of proof of health insurance and a physical within one calendar year (or proof of a physical, such as a doctor's script with doctor's signature on it, including date of physical). After completing registration please log back into your account to upload your Camp Health Checklist under your Incomplete Tasks on your Account Dashboard. 

Will I receive a camp confirmation?

• Yes! You will receive an e-mail confirmation within a week of us receiving your application and payment in the mail or immediately if you register online. This e-mail or online receipt will confirm the camper's enrollment in the camp along with the medical paperwork and a list of what to bring. If an e-mail address is not provided, we will mail the information.

Will I receive a camp itinerary?

• We will e-mail out a camp itinerary including check-in location, directions and times on the Monday a week prior to the start of camp. The itinerary will also include a list of what to bring, pick up times, and a reminder about the mandatory health paperwork.

What if my camper must arrive late?

• After completing the registration process please contact the summer camps director for help arranging a late arrival. Typically with the help of the camp staff we can accommodate your late arrival and give you a counselor's contact phone number to use upon arrival. 

HEALTH PAPERWORK/MEDICAL QUESTIONS

I can't find the medical paperwork for download anywhere on the website. How can I access it?

• All medical paperwork and information (proof of health insurance, proof of physical exam, immunization record, prescriptions, injury information, etc.) must be submitted through our online camper portal, CampDocs. A CampDocs representative will reach out to you via email with a link to register within one week of registration. Any questions specific to uploading or submitting medical paperwork can be directed to the CampDocs support team at support@campdoc.com or 734-619-8300.

Should I mail in my medical paperwork?

• Please DO NOT mail in your medical paperwork prior to the start of camp. We are only accepting medical paperwork via our online camper portal CampDocs.

What if our doctor won't give out a copy of my son/daughter's physical or I can't get a copy in time for camp?

• A signed prescription form will suffice for proof of your physical if you cannot get an actual copy. You can also contact your child's school for a copy of his or her most updated physical and/or updated immunization records.

What is the presence of trainers/medical staff at the camp?

•  This will be a certified athletic trainer on staff. Should the need arise, there will also be access to urgent care and local hospitals. With this in mind, please thoroughly and accurately complete the Camper's Health Form section of the application so the camp staff have important medical information on hand.

Can the camp staff hold a camper's medication?

• Camper's medications will be held by the Camp Health Director. At the onset of camp, medications will be turned over to the health director whose responsibility at that point is to administer all medications at the appropriate time based on the prescription throughout the duration of camp.

What if my camper is injured during camp?

• In case of an emergency, the University will contact the parent immediately. If the parent/guardian cannot be reached, the University has authorization for emergency medical care granted from the Camper's Health Form. If the medical staff determines that a camper is unable to participate in activities, parents/guardians must make arrangements to have their camper return home.

 

 

 

 

COST/REFUNDS


What is your cancellation and refund policy?

• We will no longer be accepting deposits for summer camps. Payment in full will be due at the time of registration. You may register by paying online using a credit or debit card. All payments, except for a $20 processing fee, will be refundable up to 14 days prior to the start of camp. After that date, if you need to cancel, you will forfeit 30% of your payment until the start date of camp. There will be no refunds once camp has begun.

Do you offer a family discount?

• We offer a family discount to parents sending multiple children to the same camp, the same child to multiple sport camps or different children to different camps. We simply ask that you contact the camp director for more information on how to get the discount applied to your camp tuition. The discount is $20 off for each child for each camp. We will not be able to reimburse parents after the attendance of camps, so please plan ahead.

FOOD/DINING

Where do campers eat during camp?

• Campers will be offered lunch during each day of camp. A varieyt of sandwich/sub platters, chips, and fruit will be offered.

Do you offer special dietary options if needed?

• NO. If special dietary needs are had, please arrange your own lunch during the lunch break.
